Meet the Owner

Helen Eyasu, Owner and Manager

Helen Eyasu, the visionary behind Shebelle Bar and Grill, has over a decade of experience in the restaurant industry. Having worked her way up from server to cook to restaurant manager, Helen knows the ins and outs of the business. Her passion for hospitality and dedication to creating a top-notch dining experience inspired her to open her own establishment. Helen is thrilled to welcome guests to Shebelle, where they can enjoy some of the finest American cuisine in one of Dallas’ most upscale neighborhoods.

History

Established in 2017.

Founded on December 15, 2017, Shebelle quickly made a name for itself in Dallas, attracting a loyal customer base in a short time. Originally serving authentic Ethiopian cuisine, the restaurant has since expanded its focus to American delicacies with a global twist, blending international flavors into its menu. In addition to the dining space, Shebelle features a private room perfect for hosting networking events, live music, poetry readings, and comedy shows, complete with a stage for performances.
